Latex

Latex is natural rubber, and at the moment is still the most used material for examination gloves. At huge rubber plantations, based in the Far East, latex is tapped from the Brasilian rubber tree. By making carves into the bark the latex trickles out of the tree. In order to make the material suitable for producing gloves, the latex encounters a number of chemical procedures.

Vinyl

Vinyl gloves are made out of PVC. These gloves have a slightly looser fit than the regular latex or nitrile gloves, and are highly suitable for the hairdresser, printing and food industry. Nowadays the stretch-vinyl glove (non-latex) is making its advance. This glove fits more tightly than the regular vinyl glove.

Nitrile

Nitrile gloves are made out of 100% synthetic nitrile, an excellent and strong material which offers optimal hand protection. Nitrile gloves fit tightly, and do not give any allergic reaction. Nitrile gloves are very suitable for the medical, painting/coating, and the fine chemical industry.
